A few lines from Walk Away by Christina Aguilera
"I was naive, your love was like candy,
Artificially sweet, I was decieved by the wrapping.
Got caught in your web and I learned how to bleed.
I was prey in your bed and devoured completely"

A few lines from Love Me For Me by Ashlee Simpson
"I've been waiting all my life to finally find you,
Just so I can push you away.
And when you're crawling over broken glass to get to me,
That's when I'll let you stay!"
Just so I can push you away.
And when you're crawling over broken glass to get to me,
That's when I'll let you stay!"

A quote that has a serious meaning to me:
"Love is the slowest form of suicide."
There's a lot of mixed feelings and different meanings that people get from this quote. It has a very important, serious, and special meaning to me. To me,it means that, with everything you experience, learn, and go through in a relationship,it stays with you for the next one. It changes you. It makes you look at everything over and investigate more. You'll look for things that wouldn't before based on what has happened to you and don't ever think that's a bad thing. It's lessons like that, that make you smarter, stronger, help you find what you really want for yourself in life and in your future relationships, and grow as a person. I can even go as far as to say that part of you-the part that was hurt and /or fooled, dies and whoever it was that hurt you, takes that piece of you with them. A lot of times, you probably won't get those pieces of yourself back but with time, the internal scars will heal and one day you'll wake up and your heart will be intact. I hope that you find that one special person to help you heal a little faster along the way. You should also know that you'll always come out stronger in the end of it all.

My Favorite Marilyn Monroe quote
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
Some quotes from 'Why Did I Get Married Too?'
"It's hard to appreciate a good man after having a bad one but it's even harder to be a good woman after she's had a bad man."
"I wanna be loved not tolerated."
"You can only fight with someone who's willing to get in the ring with you."

"You can only fight with someone who's willing to get in the ring with you."
Part of "Dile Al Amor" by Aventura
"Tell love not to knock on my door,
And that I'm not home,
And not to come tomorrow.
With my heart they have failed in occasions,
So I left for vacation,
Far away from love.
Tell love that it is not welcome in my life.
Give it my good byes."
And that I'm not home,
And not to come tomorrow.
With my heart they have failed in occasions,
So I left for vacation,
Far away from love.
Tell love that it is not welcome in my life.
Give it my good byes."
As much as you might love someone...
As much as you might love someone, it's fun to watch them fall on their face sometimes.
A line from the movie "Perfect Man"
The "Perfect Man" is a beautiful idea but you can't grow old with a beautiful idea.
A Few Lines from I Hate Love by LiL Wayne
"I don’t wanna love no more, spare me.
You can have my heart its only dead beat.
I’m sick of the love songs and the bullshit.
When reality bites like a wolf."
You can have my heart its only dead beat.
I’m sick of the love songs and the bullshit.
When reality bites like a wolf."
"Good Guys"...?
So guys say girls push the good guys away but who says that all these guys that say it fall into the 'good guy' category? Every girl has their own idea of 'the' good guy for them and if you don't fit, then you don't fit. Better luck next time. But if you are an honest to God good guy, that doesn't mean there's chemistry between you and said girl. You can't just fake that stuff fellas.
Why am I single?
Why am I single? Because I've been in a relationship with myself for 23 years and that's the one that's most important so until I find someone who can give me competition that's when I'll reconsider.
Quote from To Sir With Love
Guys only like sluts for so long. Only the worst of guys will marry one.
Where I Stand As A Female As Of Now....
No one really understands how I think and feel now. When people ask me why I'm single,I don't really know how to answer because for me there's so many reasons. It's such a loaded question. I have issues I have to work through and I know this. I'm scared, scratch that,I'm terrified of getting hurt again. I know this is going to sound totally cliche but I'm damaged goods. I'm not only afraid of getting my heart broken but I'm scared, truly scared,of even being alone with a dude that I don't know. So,in my lonesome, I think how can I meet a guy and get to know a guy if I'm terrified of being alone with a handsome stranger. Is he really bad? Is he really giving me bad vibes? Has he really done anything to me make me doubt him? He probably hasn't other than the things I make up in my imagination to save myself. "Save myself from what?",I ask myself. I'm fighting to save myself from getting hurt, getting too close, getting fooled, getting taken advantage of,getting my kindness taken for weakness, and so much more. I could lie and say that this is normal or smart but I know it isn't. I know I need to let these walls down eventually but for now fooling myself into thinking this is totally fine is keeping me content. Yes I'll admit, even with trying to talk myself into thinking it's normal to do what I'm doing,I seek help at times but I just can't find it. Nothing or no one seems to help. My problems are mental and can't be solved because I've been hurt, hurt like so many others have been. For me though, this hurt hits me so much deeper that people think. Even deeper than I thought it ever could have. It still stings everyday although I try not let the way I feel inside take over my life like others do but in reality its killing me.Most guys only come to want one thing from me and I'm afraid that its gonna start affecting the way I feel about myself and see myself. I'm on the fence about whether I feel too good for most guys now or not good enough for any guy. That's a big stretch,I know. It's crazy because I have high self esteem, and I'm very confident but question is "Have I made myself unreachable for anyone to get through to me?". I'm afraid I have. It seems as though it's going to take a really great, honest and different kind of guy to get through these walls I've built around my heart. Considering that not many guys seem to be able to handle or respect a strong female such as myself, that looks like it's going to take a very long time.
Consider this a final farewell to my past...
Dear Past,
I've been thinking a lot lately. All of this time I thought u ruined me.I thought you turned me into the difficult person I've become. This made me mad at u but it also made me glad because I thought it made me strong. Then I thought a little harder,I realized something else. You didn't make me strong. You did the opposite. You mad me weak. I was always strong. With you I was a weaker version of myself. I'm stronger now without you and 10 times stronger after you! So thank you for doing all that you did because now I'll never let anyone hurt me again! I'll never let anyone pull me down again. I'll never let another hold me back from anything or anyone. You made me feel small and maybe I let you but I'll never make that mistake again. Although I don't and never will regret you,I do wish that I could go back in time and correct the mistakes that were made. I wouldn't have let myself be drowned by my feelings for you because that is why all my problems began. In loving you,I lost myself. I only now realized though that the minute I lost you,I got myself back. Therefore, I gained way more than I lost. You are my past and I'm looking forward to my future...whatever it may bring. It can only, hopefully get better because there's no way I'm letting it get worse...

The Me Nobody Knew by Shannon McLinden
"Be careful not to fall fool for a quick fix. Up until then,I had been looking for an external peace-that's a 'quick fix'. I wanted to make my face prettier,my body leaner,my reputation stronger. I thought peace would come after I was beautiful, thin, and cool. What I figured out is that I needed to find an internal peace-a permanent fix. Pretty faces get wrinkles. Bodies gain weight. Reputations get killed by one tiny rumor. When you look back over the years, you see that 'cool' is something different every minute. I craved something solid."
This is a paragraph from the book called The Me Nobody Knew by Shannon McLinden that I really liked and respected.

Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda
The memory of you emerges from the night around me.
The river mingles its stubborn lament with the sea.
Deserted like the wharves at dawn.
It is the hour of departure, oh deserted one!
Cold flower heads are raining over my heart.
Oh pit of debris, fierce cave of the shipwrecked.
In you the wars and the flights accumulated.
From you the wings of the song birds rose.
You swallowed everything, like distance.
Like the sea, like time. In you everything sank!
It was the happy hour of assault and the kiss.
The hour of the spell that blazed like a lighthouse.
Pilot's dread, fury of blind driver,
turbulent drunkenness of love, in you everything sank!
In the childhood of mist my soul, winged and wounded.
Lost discoverer, in you everything sank!
You girdled sorrow, you clung to desire,
sadness stunned you, in you everything sank!
I made the wall of shadow draw back,
beyond desire and act, I walked on.
Oh flesh, my own flesh, woman whom I loved and lost,
I summon you in the moist hour, I raise my song to you.
Like a jar you housed infinite tenderness.
and the infinite oblivion shattered you like a jar.
There was the black solitude of the islands,
and there, woman of love, your arms took me in.
There was thirst and hunger, and you were the fruit.
There were grief and ruins, and you were the miracle.
Ah woman, I do not know how you could contain me
in the earth of your soul, in the cross of your arms!
How terrible and brief my desire was to you!
How difficult and drunken, how tensed and avid.
Cemetery of kisses, there is still fire in your tombs,
still the fruited boughs burn, pecked at by birds.
Oh the bitten mouth, oh the kissed limbs,
oh the hungering teeth, oh the entwined bodies.
Oh the mad coupling of hope and force
in which we merged and despaired.
And the tenderness, light as water and as flour.
And the word scarcely begun on the lips.
This was my destiny and in it was my voyage of my longing,
and in it my longing fell, in you everything sank!
Oh pit of debris, everything fell into you,
what sorrow did you not express, in what sorrow are you not drowned!
From billow to billow you still called and sang.
Standing like a sailor in the prow of a vessel.
You still flowered in songs, you still brike the currents.
Oh pit of debris, open and bitter well.
Pale blind diver, luckless slinger,
lost discoverer, in you everything sank!
It is the hour of departure, the hard cold hour
which the night fastens to all the timetables.
The rustling belt of the sea girdles the shore.
Cold stars heave up, black birds migrate.
Deserted like the wharves at dawn.
Only tremulous shadow twists in my hands.
Oh farther than everything. Oh farther than everything.
It is the hour of departure. Oh abandoned one!
The river mingles its stubborn lament with the sea.
Deserted like the wharves at dawn.
It is the hour of departure, oh deserted one!

Saddest Poem by Pablo Neruda
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
Write, for instance: "The night is full of stars,
and the stars, blue, shiver in the distance."
The night wind whirls in the sky and sings.
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.
On nights like this, I held her in my arms.I kissed her so many times under the infinite sky.
She loved me, sometimes I loved her.
How could I not have loved her large, still eyes?
I can write the saddest poem of all tonight.
To think I don't have her. To feel that I've lost her.
To hear the immense night, more immense without her.
And the poem falls to the soul as dew to grass.
What does it matter that my love couldn't keep her.
The night is full of stars and she is not with me.
That's all. Far away, someone sings. Far away.
My soul is lost without her.
As if to bring her near, my eyes search for her.
My heart searches for her and she is not with me.
The same night that whitens the same trees.
We, we who were, we are the same no longer.
I no longer love her, true, but how much I loved her.
My voice searched the wind to touch her ear.
Someone else's. She will be someone else's. As she once
belonged to my kisses.
Her voice, her light body. Her infinite eyes.
I no longer love her, true, but perhaps I love her.
Love is so short and oblivion so long.
Because on nights like this I held her in my arms,
my soul is lost without her.
Although this may be the last pain she causes me,
and this may be the last poem I write for her. This is another great poem by Pablo Neruda. I love this poem.
Sonnet XVII by Pablo Neruda
I don't love you as if you were the salt-rose, topaz
or arrow of carnations that propagate fire:
I love you as certain dark things are loved,
secretly, between the shadow and the soul.
I love you as the plant that doesn't bloom and carries
hidden within itself the light of those flowers,
and thanks to your love, darkly in my body
lives the dense fragrance that rises from the earth.
hidden within itself the light of those flowers,
and thanks to your love, darkly in my body
lives the dense fragrance that rises from the earth.
I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where,
I love you simply, without problems or pride:
I love you in this way because I don't know any other way of loving
I love you simply, without problems or pride:
I love you in this way because I don't know any other way of loving
but this, in which there is no I or you,
so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand,
so intimate that when I fall asleep it is your eyes that close.
so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand,
so intimate that when I fall asleep it is your eyes that close.
This is my favorite poem by Pablo Neruda.
Smile.
You got to wake up every morning with a smile on your face to show the world all the love in your heart. ♥
"Strong females"= Extinct???
I hate when "strong" females become soft as jello when men get involved.Females that become like putty in their hands-like "yes, please mold me into another statistic and add me to the list of girls you've done this to before and when you done making a fool of me,be done with me." I have too many friends that have been treated like fools and I won't become one of them or watch it happen to another friend of mine. Please smarten up ladies...if things don't seem right from the start,if there's even a slight doubt in your minds, then run and never look back because more then likely there's something much better waiting for you elsewhere. Believe me,it's been proven to me many times and has saved me from a lot of jerks. Always remember this before you let yourself settle for someone: You are worth more...most of the time you're worth more then you think.
Who's still standing...
Its sucks when the lights go out but it all becomes worth it to see who's still standing there when they are turned back on.
No Such thing...
In real life, love stories are more like Romeo & Juliet rather than Cinderella and Snow White. There is no such thing as a happily ever after.
